This sweet witch is mounted on a vintage wooden textile bobbin. She measures 13" to the tip of her scrunchy black witch hat...which ~ by the way ~ is embellished with orange tinsel trim! Made from aged osnaburg, she features button eyes, a stitched nose, and a stitched smile. I sewed 3 little black buttons to her painted black body...and attached a skirt made from black tulle and vintage grosgrain ribbon. The orange glittered banner wired to her hands reads:
Oct 31.

Allow me to introduce CAT!
He measures 12" to the tip of his party hat! Made from painted and aged osnaburg, CAT features lidded eyes, a needle felted wool nose, and whiskers! He sports a polka-dotted party hat that is trimmed with orange tinsel...and a green wool collar. I sewed three vintage orange buttons to his belly. I also sewed a vintage hooked button to his collar on which hangs an antique skeleton key! CAT holds a glittered banner which reads { what else?! } C~A~T!

Calamity Jane

Calamity Jane is a tomboy. {The only way her mommy can get her to wear a dress is if it has cowboys and horses on it!} Jane measures 35" BIG! Made from aged muslin, she features button eyes, a painted nose, and a stitched mouth. Her frock features a whimsical cowboy print. It is embellished with jumbo red rick-rack and 3 vintage red buttons. I pinned an antique Texas Rangers toy badge to her bodice. Underneath her dress, Jane sports muslin pantaloons. I tied a vintage blue ribbon bow in her red cotton hair ... but knowing Jane, that won't last very long!
