St. Nick

 
St. Nick measures 8" tall. Made from aged osnaburg, he features lidded eyes, a needle-stitched nose, and a curly wool beard. St. Nick's painted-on suit is trimmed with vintage tinsel ... and I sewed three vintage black buttons to his round belly. He holds a glittered wire garland which reads:

Lloyd

 
Lloyd measures 9 1/2" to the top of his painted and aged stovepipe hat. Made from an old feedsack, he features stitched eyes, a sculpted paper mache carrot nose, and a rusty jingle bell smile. I stitched 3 vintage green buttons to his belly. Lloyd's scarf was fashioned from an old green wool Army blanket.
 

Flurry

 
Flurry is made from aged osnaburg. He measures 12" ... and features black bead eyes, a clay carrot nose, and a stitched smile. Flurry sports a burgundy wool stocking cap which is embellished with a rusty jingle bell. His scarf is fashioned from an old cutter quilt scrap ... and I sewed 3 vintage buttons to his belly. Flurry holds a bottlebrush tree in his bark wired hand.
 

Calvin

 
Made from aged muslin, Calvin measures 30" BIG! He features black bead eyes, a sculpted paper mache carrot nose, and a stitched mouth.  
Calvin's trousers were fashioned from a vintage green wool Army blanket. He sports a green homespun scarf which is embellished with a big rusty jingle bell. Calvin's painted on shoes are trimmed with cotton ribbing. I tucked a corncob pipe in his jute twine belt.
 

Sundae

 
Sundae measures 7" tall. Made from glittered cotton batting, he features black bead eyes and a sculpted paper mache carrot nose. I sewed a vintage red bell to his belly ... and tied a red fleece scarf around his neck. Sundae sports a hot fudge-colored knit cap topped with a cherry red pom-pom! He holds a vintage metal ice cream spoon in his bark wire arms. Sundae is mounted in paper ice cream cup!
 

Frosty


Frosty is made from glittered cotton batting. He stands approximately 7 1/2" tall. Frosty features bead eyes, a stitched mouth, and a sculpted paper mache nose. He sports a red scarf. Frosty is tucked in a vintage cardboard food storage box!

Twinkle


Twinkle is made from glittered cotton batting. He features black bead eyes and a sculpted clay carrot nose. He measures approximately 8" tall. Twinkle sports a polka-dotted party had and an orange wool felt scarf. I sewed a couple of vintage buttons to his belly. Twinkle sits in a metal pot {he's not permanently attached if you'd like to display him in a different container, but please note: he will not stand up by himself due to his roly-poly bottom}.
 

Coffee, Tea, or Me?


Made from aged osnaburg, this snowman sits in an old, chippy green enamel cup. He stands 9" to the top of his aged stovepipe hat! He features a sculpted paper mache *carrot* nose, black bead eyes, and a stitched smile. I sewed a rusty jingle bell to his belly. The snowman sports a green fleece scarf. He holds a vintage ice cream spoon in his wired bark hand.
 

Another Canned Snowman


We've tucked another grubby snowman inside a vintage pint-sized canning jar complete with an old zinc lid! Our frosty friend is made from aged and glittered cotton batting. He features black seed beads eyes, rusty wire *twig* arms, and a clay *carrot* nose! The snowman sports a green wool felt scarf. He holds a little rusty heart ... and is right at home standing in loose glass glitter *snow*! The aged paper tag wired around the lip of the jar reads:
In the meadow we can build a snowman...
 

Oh, Deer!


This make-do Santa is attached to a vintage wooden spool. He measures 12" tall. Santa features a curly wool beard, sculpted nose, and black bead eyes. His burgundy suit and hat are trimmed with faux Sherpa. I sewed 4 black buttons to Santa's belly...and tucked three tiny candy canes in his little pocket. Santa holds a wired deer garland!

Santa Claus is Coming to Town

 
This jolly Santa is made from aged osnaburg. He features black bead eyes, a sculpted nose, and a curly white beard. His suit is painted and trimmed with chenille. I sewed a couple of black buttons to his belly. His hat is embellished with a rusty jingle bell. Santa sits in a vintage cooking mold ... and holds a bottlebrush tree.
 

Tom Turkey


Thanksgiving is right around the corner...and Tom Turkey is beginning to get worried!
He baked a pumpkin pie in the hopes that you'll eat dessert first and skip the main course!
 
Tom Turkey stands 12 1/2" tall. He features black bead eyes with lids ... a stuffed, painted and aged beak ... and a wool felt wattle. His body and feathers are made from wool. Tom sports a burgundy wool tie and a black wool felt pilgrim hat which is embellished with grubby ribbing and a vintage silver buckle. The muslin button sewn to his chest reads:

FIRST!
Tom holds a vintage toy fork and knife. He will arrive at your home~sweet~home with his freshly baked pumpkin pie in a little vintage pie tin!
 
 

Boo!


This little witch is made from aged osnaburg. Tucked in a vintage cooking mold, she measures approximately 8 1/2" to the tip of her scrunchy witch hat which is embellished with black tulle. The witch features button eyes, a stitched nose and a stitched smile. I sewed a couple of black buttons to her belly ... and attached a muslin button ~ backed with orange wool felt ~ to her chest. The button reads:
BOO!
The witch holds a small orange bottle brush tree. 
{ She isn't permanently attached to the cooking mold ...
so feel free to display her, instead, in a bowl of Halloween candy or candy corn! }
 

Blue Ribbon Pumpkin Pie

 
Look who won a Blue Ribbon at the fair for her pumpkin pie!
Piper measures 21" tall. She is made from aged osnaburg. Piper sports a homespun dress which is embellished with a vintage button and a tiny pocket. Tucked in the pocket, you'll find a vintage toy fork and knife { someone is ready for a slice of pie! }. I sewed Piper's prized blue ribbon to her bodice.

Piper features button eyes, a stitched nose, and a stitched smile. I tied vintage seam binding bows in her hair. Piper will arrive at your home~sweet~home with one of her pumpkin pies. The cotton batting pie was *baked* in a small vintage pie tin!

Spell Bottles

 
Add these spell bottles to your Halloween decor! Made from antique glass bottles, they feature aged labels. The blue bottle measures 3¾". It features a rusty lid and a skeleton label which reads: Oct. The larger bottle measures 4¾". It features a cork top and a bat label which reads: 31. The vignette includes a black bottle brush tree tucked in an antique glass insulator.
 

Scarecrow for Hire


 Scarecrow for Hire measures 22" tall. The scarecrow wears a homespun shirt, over-dyed green osnaburg trousers, a striped kerchief and a straw hat. His trousers are held up with vintage girdle clips and jute twine...his shirt is embellished with 3 vintage buttons. The scarecrow's painted-on brown boots are trimmed with grubby ribbing. He sports raffia hair and *stuffing*!
 
The scarecrow features lidded button eyes, a wool nose, and a stitched smile. He will arrive at your home-sweet-home with a green metal wheel barrow, 3 pumpkins, and one small Indian corn. The pumpkins are fashioned from painted cotton batting and feature real twig stems.

This sweet witch is mounted on a vintage wooden textile bobbin. She measures 13" to the tip of her scrunchy black witch hat...which ~ by the way ~ is embellished with orange tinsel trim! Made from aged osnaburg, she features button eyes, a stitched nose, and a stitched smile. I sewed 3 little black buttons to her painted black body...and attached a skirt made from black tulle and vintage grosgrain ribbon. The orange glittered banner wired to her hands reads:

CAT


Allow me to introduce CAT!
He measures 12" to the tip of his party hat! Made from painted and aged osnaburg, CAT features lidded eyes, a needle felted wool nose, and whiskers! He sports a polka-dotted party hat that is trimmed with orange tinsel...and a green wool collar. I sewed three vintage orange buttons to his belly. I also sewed a vintage hooked button to his collar on which hangs an antique skeleton key! CAT holds a glittered banner which reads { what else?! } C~A~T!
 

Calamity Jane

 
Calamity Jane is a tomboy. {The only way her mommy can get her to wear a dress is if it has cowboys and horses on it!} Jane measures 35" BIG! Made from aged muslin, she features button eyes, a painted nose, and a stitched mouth. Her frock features a whimsical cowboy print. It is embellished with jumbo red rick-rack and 3 vintage red buttons. I pinned an antique Texas Rangers toy badge to her bodice. Underneath her dress, Jane sports muslin pantaloons. I tied a vintage blue ribbon bow in her red cotton hair ... but knowing Jane, that won't last very long!


 

Candy Striper

Candy is dressed in a red and white striped frock. Her dress is embellished with red soutache trim and a couple of vintage red buttons. Underneath, she sports muslin pantaloons. Candy's painted-on black Mary Jane's feature little buttons ... and her painted-on socks are trimmed with vintage lace.
 
Candy features button eyes and stitched facial features. Her burgundy wool yarn hair is tied with vintage red ribbon. Candy's nurse cap is made from muslin. It is embellished with a vintage American Junior Red Cross pin! The antique metal badge attached to her bodice reads:

 This black cat's a party animal! She measures 24" to the tip of her orange and black polka dotted party hat! Her orange frock is embellished with festive black trim. Underneath, she sports black pantaloons which are trimmed with orange rick-rack. Her green paper banner garland reads:

Made from aged osnaburg, she measures 22". Cutie Pie's homespun dress is embellished with a couple of vintage blue buttons. I sewed a tiny vintage cat-shaped toy cookie cutter to her bodice. Cutie Pie's apron is fashioned from an old embroidered doily. Underneath her dress, she sports lace trimmed muslin pantaloons.

Her curly red wool yarn hair is tied up with vintage blue seam binding ribbon. She will arrive at your home-sweet-home with a vintage toy aluminum measuring cup { which is tied to her hand with jute twine } and an antique wooden toy rolling pin.

In the Good Old Summertime

 
 In the good old summertime ... picnics are always in order!
Made from aged osnaburg, Summer measures 22" tall.
She wears a navy, red, and cream homespun dress which is embellished with navy blue rick-rack and a couple of vintage buttons. I pinned an antique political button to her bodice. It reads:
Hello Buddie.
Underneath her dress, Summer is sporting lace-trimmed muslin pantaloons. Her painted on black flats are trimmed with navy bows.
 
Summer features a sculpted nose, stitched lids and painted lips. Her straw boater is trimmed with vintage red and blue ribbon ... and a little wooden firecracker! Summer comes with her very own picnic basket which is loaded with a couple of slices of watermelon, a bouquet of summer posies, an aged American flag, and a picnic blanket (i.e., a vintage handkerchief)!!

Witch Rowena has been invited to a Halloween party!
She measures 25" to the tip of her polka-dotted party hat.
Her black frock features orange polka dots. It is embellished with a black ruffle and vintage orange buttons. The tag attached to her bodice reads:

The tag is trimmed with black chenille, wool felt and vintage black ribbon.
Underneath her dress, she sports lace-trimmed muslin pantaloons.
Rowena's painted 0n black boots feature glass bead buttons.
